Rosie & Sean McCooe

Rosie and Sean McCooe have been major contributors to Jamboree for the past 21 years—more than half of their married lives as a couple! Longtime cast members, they fondly remember playing Jane Fonda and Arnold Schwarzenegger in their Jamboree debut. From there, they went on to dazzle audiences with singing, dancing, tapping, swinging, and kicklining (well, at least Rosie did). Sean, meanwhile, was always willing to ham it up and proudly serve as one of Jamboree’s greatest cheerleaders.

An ardent fundraiser, Sean helped raise the bar—and his favorite “Jamboremeter”—as funds raised climbed from double digits to triple digits over the past two decades. Rosie, a SIX-time director of her beloved show, has relished the opportunity to work with hundreds of Jamboreers over the years. She brings passion, collaboration, and a keen eye to every production, always striving to bring out the best in her cast.

In recent years, Rosie has been delighted to don her “choreographer” hat and hopes she’ll have the good sense to know when to step away… but not for another ten years or so! Together, Sean and Rosie truly believe that “Jamboree people are the best people.”
