PJ Lalwani

PJ in 2010 originally wanted to be backstage help when he came to RHS for Jamboree, but was somehow recruited to be on stage, in spite of insisting he had no talent in singing/dancing or acting. See, no talent required in Jamboree :)

After having been on board or involved with other scholarships/charities, he has been totally dedicated to fundraising efforts at Jamboree since then. He was Producer in 2013 that for the first time broke the 6figure fundraising and that same year he spearheaded the introduction of Alumni, and since then Alumni has grown to be one of the largest fundraising group of all Jamboree collections. 

PJ is a first generation immigrant of Indian descent, resident of Ridgewood for 33 years, married his sweetheart Ellen and has 3 kids - all RHS graduates. His last child graduated in 2015, and since then he has been the chair of Jamboree Alumni along with a couple others as co-chairs.

Coming from a business background in Celebrity licensing and apparel trade for nearly 40 years, PJ is constantly involved with organizing social events for both Jamboree and the community of Ridgewood.
